Element Tv Comes Up to Blue Element Screen Then Turns Off

My TV is a 2008 Element, but when I turn the TV on. The power light switches from red to blue, then the screen begans to come on but it shuts right back off. I'm needing help finding out what is the problem with my TV so I can by the part and fix it

First guess would be power supply. Parts for a ten year old TV may not be available.

My element tv just started doing the same thing. We've been having a lot of power surges. That may be what has happened .
